The international official competition Baborówko Driving Show has come to an end. Throughout the event Boyd Exell (CAIO4*-H4), Bram Chardon (CAIO4*-H2) and Piotr Mazurek (Polish Four-in-Hand Driving Championship) consistently maintained their leading positions.
In the CAIO4*-H4 WCupQ competition for the prize of the patron of the show, Roman Roszkiewicz, victory went to Australian Boyd Exell. His fellow countryman Tor Van Den Berge took second place, while third place went to Germany’s Christoph Sandmann. In the CAIO4*-H4 Nations Cup classification, the Australian team naturally claimed the top spot. Second place was secured by Germany, and third went to the Czech Republic.
In the CAIO4*-H4 cones competition for the trophy of the Wielkopolska Region, Boyd Exell once again triumphed, driving his team of Jelviro, Julius Van Hapert, Daan 8 and Maestro H to finish with 2.66 penalty points. Second place went to Anna Sandmann with Harley, Cobra, Max Van Het Rodeland and Musketier, who scored 5.20 points. Tor Van Den Berge placed third with Carbery Estate Cato, Carbery Estate Chino, Indiana and Kerosine, with a result of 6.24 penalty points.
In the Polish Four-in-Hand Driving Championship, the title once again went to Piotr Mazurek, supported by his grooms Tomasz Cichocki and Piotr Kazimierczak. Second place was taken by Krzysztof Szczepaniak, assisted by grooms Katarzyna Szczepaniak, Jakub Szczepaniak and Katarzyna Plura. A special prize for the champion was sponsored by the event’s partner, Apart, together with the Albert Riele brand.
In the CAIO4*-H2 cones competition for the trophy of the National Support Centre for Agriculture, victory went to Lars Schwitte, who drove Le Fasco and Limber RSH and achieved 0.32 penalty points. Second place went to Dennis Schneiders with Captain Chelsea R and Aglaya Livorno, who finished on 3 points. The third spot was claimed by Kees Koops with Ilona Van Het Rodeland and Jean Pierre, with a score of 3.14 points.
In the final CAIO4*-H2 competition for the prize of the patron of the show, Roman Roszkiewicz, Dutchman Bram Chardon emerged as the winner. Second place went to Germany’s Dennis Schneiders, and third was taken by Lars Schwitte. In the CAIO4*-H2 Nations Cup classification for the BADIX trophy, Germany secured the top position. Poland took second place, while third place went to the Netherlands.
“I am very happy to be here and to finish this beautiful week with a victory (...). In the end it was very close, very exciting, very tense, also for the audience, but we came out as winners,” said Bram Chardon, winner of the CAIO4*-H2 at the Baborówko Driving Show.
