The Grand Prix of the first-ever international showjumping competition in Baborówko – Baborówko Jumping Show – ended with the win of home rider Dawid Kubiak with ESTORIL FORTUNA.
50 pairs took part in this highlight class in Baborówko, counting for the world ranking. The course designer set a difficult challenge for them and only 9 managed to go clear and qualify for the jump-off. Dawid Kubiak (POL) was double clear with two of his horses and finished first with ESTORIL FORTUNA and third with ANASTACIA III. Adam Nicpoń (POL) took the second place with COUNTER.
- I’m very pleased with Estoril. He had a break for a while, we had the time to train and prepare for the show. He went clear in both of the ranking classes and won his first one today. – said the winner - I liked the event in Baborówko since the first day. I’m very sensitive when it comes to footing at shows. And the ground is great here, at both arenas.”
In the Middle Tour Final, for the prize of the Wielkopolska Region Local Government, the win went to Germany’s Philipp Schober riding GUESSINA. Second went to Jarosław Skrzyczyński (POL) with KARANZA VAN DE BOOMGAARDSCHUUR, and third to Mściwoj Kiecoń (POL) riding CLEANY VD KATTEVENNEN Z.
The best rider of the Last Chance class, for the prize of STEICO, was Eliza Zawadzka (POL) with DIOR V, before Tomasz Jasiński (POL) with CAPTAIN KRYM and Daria Kobiernik (POL) with SONET.
The best 5-year-old horse of the Youngster Tour Final, for the prize of the Wielkopolska Horse Breeders Association, was MICHA, ridden by Marek Wacławik (POL). Second and third went to Krzysztof Retka (POL) with MAYROCK and MAJESTIC ROCK, respectively. In the rivalry of 6- and 7-year-old horses, for the prize of Stadnina Kunowo, Tomasz Miśkiewicz (POL) was victorious with LOVELY SILVA and second with VANILIA LAZAR. Aleksander Lewandowski (POL) finished third with L.A. STYLE K.
The winner of the CSI1* Special Tour Final, for the prize of Pets Diag, was Hanna Jachimowicz (POL) with CHIVAS DARCO. Second went to Maja Siwiak (POL) with TRACJA, and third to Ukraine’s Victor Slepnov with SAPSAN 3.
Nadia Lehmann (POL) was unbeatable in the Small Tour Final riding SILVER STAR. Anna Stasiak (POL) with CON CORDIA was second, and Filip Skrzyczyński (POL) with CAMBIALE Z – third.
The CSICh Children Grand Prix, for the prize of Canter Club, ended with the win of Zuzanna Przybylska (POL) with CONNY 391, before Amelia Zięba (POL) with GEZANT and Karolina Wernerowicz (POL) with CARAJON.
The 2-horse jump-off in the Pony Tour Final, for the prize of the Mayor of the City and Commune of Szamotuły, was lucky for Olga Patecka (POL) with BOCO AN MHUILEANN. Jagoda Kierznowska took home the second and third with CORBINIAN and BENJA LUNA.

The competition is being held over three days at two arenas. Baborówko Equestrian Centre has at its disposal an impressive sports infrastructure, modernized in 2019-2021, which includes, among others, three quartz arenas with a seepage system, measuring: 12,000 sq m. (the largest quartz square in Poland at the moment), 7,000 sq m. and 2,000 sq m. Baborówko is also famous for its great atmosphere and great organization.
Baborówko Equestrian Centre has been known so far for the organization of international eventing competitions, during which it hosted the most titled foreign and Polish competitors, Olympic champions, world champions and FEI ranking leaders, such as representatives of Germany, Michael Jung and Ingrid Klimke, or the British eventer, Oliver Townend. This year, in addition to eventing and show jumping, Baborówko will host the first international competition and a Nations Cup in driving - Baborówko Driving Show (September 2-4).
