A growing interest in polish-bred sport horses among Polish and international riders, as well as an increased willingness of owners and breeders to choose an auction as a way of selling horses, shows that the course set by the organisers of the auction in Baborówko was a right one. This can be confirmed by great results of horses presented at previous auctions, including Chiquita, purchased by Andreas Dibowski, a mare that won a CCI3*-S with German rider Maj-Jonna Ziebell just last weekend.
Unfortunately, due to the unstable epidemiological situation, the organisers of LOTTO Baborówko Horse Sale Show, in cooperation with the owners and breeders of selected horses, have decided to cancel this year’s sport horses auction. The event will still include an international and national eventing show, as planned.
- The decision to cancel this year’s auction was a difficult one. We wanted the bidding to go according to our usual vision, making use of all the potential of this way of selling horses, with a big audience and a great Saturday night atmosphere in our historic barn. In the current situation it is sadly not possible. We believe that next year’s fifth edition of the sport horses auction will go on undisturbed, and we invite everyone to Baborówko this year to experience a beautiful sporting spectacle. – says Henryk Święcicki jr., the director of the show.
LOTTO Baborówko Horse Sale Show will take place from the 25th until the 27th of September 2020. The modernized infrastructure of Baborówko Equestrian Centre will host three international classes: CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S, as well as three national ones: CNC1*, CNC 100 and CNC 90. The show will be played out in the classic format: dressage on Friday, cross-country on Saturday and jumping and prizegiving on Sunday.
